Ronen heads the planning and zoning department and is a partner in the firm’s Renewable Energy and Projects and Infrastructures departments.
Ronen represents a wide array of developers on planning and building matters, many of whom are promoting TAMA 38 (National Outline Plan 38) projects in Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Givatayim, Ramat Hasharon, Herzliya and other cities.
Ronen also represents some of the largest banks in Israel in proceedings pertaining to real estate under their management, while also providing them ongoing counsel on planning and building matters. He specializes in issues related to betterment levies, and represents developers in planning and building matters relevant to their industries.
Ronen represents his clients on a regular basis in the courts and before the various planning authorities. He accompanies them through proceedings before the local and district committees and the national council; represents clients in appeals to the district appeals committees, files administrative and High Court of Justice (HCJ) petitions, and advises on all the proceedings required to promote zoning plans and obtain complex permits.
Ronen regularly lectures on planning and building topics in various forums, including training courses for contractors and developers and courses run by local authorities, as well as before architects, accountants, attorneys, construction companies, banks and at university.
