Dalia Tal serves as an external advisor to our firm in relation to financial institutions, banking, regulation, corporate governance, and ancillary commercial matters.

Dalia possesses vast experience in handling and advising on mergers and acquisitions, privatization of governmental bodies and corporations, tender offers, and other complex transactions. In addition, Dalia is a leading expert in representing clients seeking regulatory licenses and permits, as well as on corporate governance and regulatory compliance.

Dalia is recognized as a leading individual and practitioner in banking, finance, and regulatory practices, and is ranked highly by Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500. Amongst others, in 2003, Dalia was awarded a special “Women in Law” award of appreciation and recognition by the Israeli Bar Association and was voted in 2007 and 2008 as one of Israel’s 100 most influential individuals by “The Marker” magazine. In 2007 she was nominated by then then Minister of Justice as a candidate for Supreme Court Justice position and in 2013, Dalia was named by Forbes magazine as one of the 50 most prominent women in Israel.

She began her career in the Military Judge Advocate General unit, after having graduated magna cum laude under the prestigious academic reserve program. Upon her honourable discharge from service, she clerked at the District Court under the late Justice Shlomo Helmut Lovenberg.

During her prolific and vast legal career, Dalia held a host of senior positions with various corporations and financial institutions, including amongst them, Deputy Legal Counsel at the Bank of Israel (1975-1986) and Legal Advisor to Bank Leumi’s board of directors (1987-2014). Dalia currently serves as a lecturer on corporate governance and other related subjects at the Reichman University in Herzliya.
