Almog is a partner in the firm’s Litigation and Communications & Media Departments, with extensive experience managing complex litigation disputes.

Among other areas, her practice encompasses the legal representation of individuals and corporations in all judicial forums and arbitrations within civil, commercial, and administrative law. Almog has significant expertise in litigation relating to corporate law, securities and capital markets, contracts, class actions, derivative claims, administrative petitions, media law, defamation, and freedom of expression.

Almog holds an LL.B. in Law and Political Science (with honors) from Tel Aviv University. Prior to joining EBN, Almog was an intern under the Honorable Judge Dafna Barak-Erez at the Supreme Court.

Almog also serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s pro bono committee.

Representative Experience

  • Represented shareholders in numerous lawsuits concerning shareholder disputes and minority oppression in major Israeli companies, including representing businessman Moti Ben Moshe in arbitration regarding control of the IDB Group, with a total value of approximately one billion NIS.
  • Represented businessman Yisrael Kreiser in a landmark public petition to the Supreme Court regarding the allocation of permits and the state’s inadequate oversight of the independent education network of the Israel Teachers Association and Degel HaTorah, a network with an annual public funding of approximately 2 billion NIS.
  • Represented former directors of the IDB Group in a series of derivative claims filed against them.
  • Represented the lead plaintiffs in two high-profile class actions, with claims totaling hundreds of millions of dollars, against Google and Apple, alleging anti-competitive practices in the operation of their app stores.
  • Represented Channel 13, News 13, and journalist Sefi Ovadyah in an appeal against a defamation lawsuit filed by Minister Miri Regev at the Supreme Court, addressing fundamental issues relating to media coverage of public figures and journalistic confidentiality.
  • Provided ongoing legal counsel and representation for over a decade in connection with the investigative program “Uvda,” covering various aspects of media law and defamation.
  • Represented Bezeq in a contractual dispute with Cellcom regarding the payment of interconnection fees for SMS delivery, amounting to tens of millions of NIS.
