In December 2018, our firm represented I.B.I. (5D) Tech Fund – High Technology and a group of angel investors, in a complex restructuring followed by a secondary purchase of shares in the aggregate amount of up to US$12 million in Songo Media Ltd., Novelty Magazines Ltd., Novelty Magazines Inc. and Liberdy Tech Ltd.
Songo group is a platform for the incubation of startup companies in the online field, which develops technological solutions in in the interfaces between e-commerce, media and artificial intelligence.
The group of purchasers and investors was represented by partner Roy Caner and attorneys Amichai Perry and Shirly Kabas.
* I.B.I. (5D) Tech Fund – High Technology is a traded venture capital in a structure of a trust fund, which was developed in order to enable the public to invest in technology projects. The fund is entitled to certain benefits from the government, and is the only fund that operates in this structure in Israel.
