Signing of a comprehensive – restructuring and recovery settlement for Israel Post
We are delighted to announce the singing of a comprehensive restructuring and recovery settlement for Israel Post. Following months of intense negotiations, a settlement in the scope of NIS 1 billion was signed with the State of Israel through the Ministry of Finance, that will lead to the recovery of Israel Post.
The settlement is unprecedented in scope and will allow Israel Post to achieve financial stability whilst providing employment security for its employees.
Israel Post was represented in the settlement process by Advocates Raanan Kalir and Alon Binyamini – partners, and heads of our Insolvency and Restructuring Department, together with associates, Advocates Ofir Gantz, Yarden Rosenbush and Noy Shefler as well as legal intern Shalom Kachlon.
