Employees’ Right to Privacy

Recent years have seen new mechanisms emerging for defending employees’ rights to privacy, some of which include the introduction of new criminal and economic sanctions. The Israeli legislature and court have conceptually classified certain areas as “no go” areas, determining the different types of private information which the employer may not have access to.
