The independent education network of Agudat Israel, which operates the ultra-orthodox educational institutions of Agudat Israel and has approximately 118 thousand students, is in grave danger of financial collapse. A comprehensive report by the investigative accountant Ofer Alkalai reveals a deficit of hundreds of millions of shekels, huge debts due to lawsuits, and high liabilities that were not calculated.
