Representation of Menora Mivtachim Insurance Ltd. in a JV to Create the Hill Top Energy Center
Our firm represented Menora Mivtachim Insurance Ltd., one of the largest insurance funds in Israel, in a joint venture to create the Hill Top Energy Center. Once constructed, Hill Top will be a 620-megawatt natural gas-fired center which will sell capacity and energy to the largest competitive power market in the U.S. Menora’s partners to the deal are Ardian Infrastructure, a world-leading private investment house, and Ares Management Corporation, a global alternative asset manager. The transaction will bring efficient, low-cost, natural-gas fired power to a vital energy market and will serve both investors and the community at large.
