Our Cyber Security department works hand in hand with our Privacy and Data Protection department, from a holistic perspective of managing the threats facing companies operating in the digital space. The combination of cyber and privacy is reflected, among other things, in our advice and adjustments for the purpose of compliance with the legal requirements relating to these areas.
Our firm has significant experience consulting in the fields of privacy and data protection law also within the framework of M&A and investment transactions, commercial agreements, compliance surveys and risks. We advise managers and entrepreneurs regarding privacy by design. In addition, we advise managers in the aspects of corporate governance in data management, and compliance with advanced regulations such as GDPR, CCPA and HIPAA.
Our Cyber Security department works in full collaboration with our firm’s Hi-Tech, Privacy, and Technology departments, a synergy that allows it to rely on the experience of attorneys that advise corporations and investors at the vanguard of the technology sector in Israel.
Representative Experience
- Representation of technology companies in a variety of industries, such as Kaymera, Orchestra Group, Waterfall-security, and many more.
- Representation of Magma Ventures, Vertex Venture Capital, Samsung Catalyst and Japanese SBI, in the sale of their shares in Argos Cyber Security, an Israeli start-up in the field of smart vehicle technology, to Continental, a German company in the field of tires and advanced vehicle components, in a transaction valued at USD 450 million.
- Representation of Lockheed Martin Corp in a USD 4.6 billion restructuring transaction to separate its business in the field of information systems and global solutions, and merging that activity with Leidos Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: LDOS) in a Reverse Morris Trust transaction.
- Representation of Vertex and Emerge funds in secondary acquisition and investment of Axonius shares.
