Our Practice
Our firm advises on a wide range of environmental matters that arise in the context of our clients’ contractual engagements, commercial transactions, legal proceedings, or their ongoing daily business activities.
Our environmental and ESG team possesses vast experience in advising on environmental law related matters to local and international corporations active in Israel on a diverse range of related issues, e.g., air pollution, waste management, radiation, and environmental nuisances, as well as on business licensing, environmental permits, and work safety issues. We also assist clients in preparing and implementing ESG policies.
In addition, our department is well versed in advising on the environmental and regulatory aspects of commercial transactions, including conducting the related in-depth legal due diligence.
ESG report
At EBN, our commitment to sustainability, responsibility, and ethical business practices has been integral to our mission from the very start. We have diligently embraced changes and updates in the field over the years, continuously integrating ESG values into our core operations.
This ongoing process has culminated in the creation of our first ESG report for 2024.
The report highlights our dedication to integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance principles into every aspect of our operations.
Our policies and practices reflect our commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. They focus on diversity, equity, inclusion, procurement, green initiatives, and extensive pro-bono and community outreach activities.
Through this report, we share our progress and highlight our initiatives:
- Sustainability: Reducing carbon emissions, promoting energy efficiency, and adopting green practices.
- Social: Community involvement, promoting equal opportunity, fair working conditions, and professional development for our employees.
- Corporate governance: Strengthening risk management, privacy protection, corporate transparency, and ethical decision-making.
In alignment with our pledge to transparency and accountability, this report was prepared with reference to the standards established by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). The process of creating this report was guided by our Head of Environment and ESG Practice, Adv. Daphna Shalev Korenblit, who has completed GRI Certified Training on Reporting with the GRI Standards.
As we launch our inaugural ESG report for 2024, we aspire not only to document our achievements thus far, but also to set ambitious targets for our continued evolution and impact in these crucial areas in the years to come.
