Or Yehuda College is rescued and off to a new start!
The students of the struggling college which found itself with a NIS 84M debt, will be going to school in four other private colleges – The College of Law & Business in Ramat Gan, The College of Management , Ono Academic College and Peres Academic Center.
Raanan Kalir, Co-Head of the Insolvency Department, was appointed together with Shlomo Ness as an officer of the court to rescue the college. The efforts of the officers proved to be fruitful and after two intensive weeks, a solution was achieved for all students and lecturers to be accepted to four other colleges. The solution was blessed by the court and the Council of Higher Education, who praised the vigorous efforts of the officers.
