EBN represented Mr. Zvika Shalom, former Chairman of the Israel Airports Authority (IAA), in a significant employment dispute with the IAA, relating to his status as an employee.
The Labor Court accepted Mr. Shalom’s claim that he should be recognized as an employee of the IAA, and, as such, entitled to receive his employment rights.
The Court also condemned the conduct of the IAA towards Mr. Shalom, including the procedure itself, and took this into consideration when determining the expenses owed by the IAA.
