WEKA Increases Funding to $140 Million to Accelerate AI Data Platform Adoption in the Enterprise

Hitachi Ventures, led a USD 73 million Series C funding round of WekaIO.
Other investors included Hewlett Packard Enterprise, NVIDIA, Micron and Cisco as well as MoreTech Ventures, Ibex Investors and Key 1 Capital.
Weka.IO is a data platform developer for AI/ML, life sciences research, and high-performance computing (HPC).
Hitachi Ventures was represented by partners Roy Caner, Yael Benyayer and Lior Etgar (Privacy), along with attorneys Oded Natan, Bar Fenster, Zohar Gillran, Ofri Yariv, and intern Moataz Istaiti.
