The securities law Class Action against OPKO Health, Inc. [OPK] was dismissed last week after the plaintiff agreed to withdraw it.
Our team, Tomer Weissman, Gil Levkovitz and Shai Luchtenstein was successful in dismissing the personal claims against Dr. Phillip Frost, the founder of Opko, on account of improper service.
Then, our team filed a motion to dismiss, and the District Court granted Opko’s motion to stay the case until the motion to dismiss is heard.
Last week the District Court granted the plaintiff’s motion to withdraw and dismissed the Class Action in its entirety.
