Israeli Court Freezes Desalination Tender

The decision to allow IDE and Hutchison to participate in the final stage of the Sorek B Desalination Plant BOT tender is revoked! In a court hearing held today in a petition filed by our firm, the Court of Administrative Affairs in Jerusalem criticized the conduct of the Tender Committee and suggested that it revoke its decision. Despite IDE and Hutchison opposition, the Tender Committee agreed to revoke its decision and to discuss the matter de-novo. The petition was filed by Giora Erdinast, Head of the Litigation Department, Tomer Weissman, Co-Manager of the Litigation Department, Partner Eran Winner, Associate John Alkalak and the intern Guy Amit.
