Court asked to nix IDE-Hutchison Sorek B desalination bid
“No reward should be awarded to those who committed serious fraud against the State and severely harmed it because of their greed” claimed 4A Desalination in a petition filed by our firm against the Tender Committee’s decision to allow bidders from IDE and Hutchison to participate in the tender to establish the Sorek B Desalination Plant, after the exposure of the fraudulent conduct in the Sorek A Desalination Plant, which was owned by IDE and Hutchison. The Sorek B Plant will be the largest desalination plant in the world. 4A Desalination was established by Allied Infrastructure, Afcon Holdings and Acciona Agua S.A., an international desalination leader, and is represented in the petition by Giora Erdinast, Head of the Litigation Department, Tomer Weissman, Co-Manager of the Litigation Department, Partner Eran Winner and Associate John Alkalak.
