A Telemarketing Company Will Refund its Customers NIS 700,000
It’s always exciting to win a case, but even more so a pro-bono case! Our firm represented a group of elderly women, who were charged for warranty fees for electrical devices despite the fact that such services were never provided to them. The court obliged the telemarketing company to refund its customers NIS 700,000 based on the provisions of Section 10A(a) to the Credit Cards Law, that requires a refund when a dissolution order is imposed against a company. The plaintiffs were represented by Associates Almog Gil-Or and Dar Raguan from our Litigation Department, in collaboration with the Clinique for Holocaust Survivors and Elderly Peoples in Tel-Aviv University.
